"Men of the valley, citizen soldiers... The Lincoln Administration has required us to brew enough coffee for three regiments... Tell them we have done so!" - Gen. "Stonewall" Jackson (Probably)

Roasted in historic New Market, Virginia, in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley-hallowed ground of the 1864 Battle and a town passed through by our beloved Stonewall during his 1862 Valley Campaign-Confederate Shop's exclusive Men of the Valley coffee is "Virginia's Finest" certified, and inspired by the heroic character of those Shenandoah Confederates.

During the War for Southern Independence, real coffee was a prized luxury, but after 1862, Union blockades and Federal occupations made a hot cup nearly impossible to find. For the men in the Valley, that elusive aroma became a symbol of comfort and home-a memory that lingered long after the final shots of the war were fired. In partnership with Confederate Coffee Company, this Front Porch Blend is a bold fusion of medium-roasted beans with a touch of espresso that delivers a lively, full-bodied cup with subtle smoky notes. Each bag purchased helps us continue in our mission to preserve and celebrate authentic Southern history.
