Front: The legitimate government formed by seven Sovereign States on February 8, 1861. The citizens of these Sovereign States wholly trusted in the firm agreement made by their fathers and grand-fathers by the Declaration of Independence and subsequent U.S. Constitution. They therefore exercised their legitimate right of secession by voter referendum and concluded that they should form a government that suits them better. After the 16th U.S. President called for 75,000 troops to invade these Sovereign States, six more joined the compact.
