Our gourmet peanuts are roasted and packed fresh for us! Although our honey roasted peanuts are not grown here in Virginia--it's close! These peanuts are harvested right next door in North Carolina and are roasted, seasoned, and packed in Virginia!

The humble, nutritious peanut has played a significant role in Virginia and Southern history. During the late war for Southern Independence, our boys who wore gray propelled the peanut into the annals of Southern history with the song "Goober Peas" which was a light-hearted tune and soon took on a new meaning as total yankee destruction and absolute Southern isolation resulted many times in the goober being part of the Army's rations.

Those days have passed away but the peanut is still with us and we are pleased to offer you what we consider to be the finest Gourmet Peanut on the market today. Relax, enjoy and hum a few bars of "Goober Peas" to remember our boys.
