We have partnered with the good folks over at the Fame Preservation Group to bring you the latest Confederate Monument remembrance coin!
The History of the Monument:
United Daughters of the Confederacy in Salisbury, North Carolina, to honor the brave Confederate soldiers of Rowan County. The monument features a striking bronze statue of "Fame," a winged female figure tenderly supporting a wounded soldier, symbolizing the courage and sacrifice of those who fought for the South during the War Between the States.
For over a century, the monument stood proudly in Salisbury’s town square, serving as a tribute to the valor and dedication of Confederate veterans. However, in 2020, amidst national debates over historical monuments, it was respectfully relocated to a historic cemetery where Confederate soldiers rest, ensuring that their legacy remains preserved for future generations.
