Within this offering we find another example of the impossibility of divorcing Christianity from the armies of the South; but, we have a new twist on the story, for here we have an account of a soldier turned minister. McKim goes to war as a soldier, answers the call to minister to the spiritual needs of his fellow man and trades his rifle for a Bible.
