Front: “To secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the people to alter or abolish it…” ~ Declaration of Independence
“Any people whatever have a right to abolish the existing government and form a new one that suits them better.” ~ Congressman A. Lincoln, 1847
Back: Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored. The Congress of the United States on May 23, 1958 conferred the same status as U.S. Veterans in Public Law 85-425. Thus when local government, parade organizers, cemetery officials, or distraught malinformed citizens forbid Confederate Flags, they disrespect American History, the U.S. Congress, Public Law 85-425, and Article 1 of the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution, and become the chief enforcers of their own ignorance.
