Description

The Choctaw fought in two major arenas in the War for Southern Independence: the Western and Trans-Mississippi theaters. They were one of five Indian nations comprising the 5 groups of American Indians who fought for the Confederacy.

The Choctaw tribe were known to be fierce fighters, as history recounts their many stories of bravery. Their Confederate banner can be seen to reflect their traditional weaponry.
