Description
This work compiles the lives of Lewis Minor Coleman, Randolph Fairfax, and George William Peterkin. These three young men were Confederate soldiers who were also soldiers of the cross of Christ. Their lives are a treasure for anyone seeking a good role model, for anyone seeing an example of bravery, for anyone seeking a display of love towards his state, for anyone seeking the golden glow of dedication to God, the Bible, their country, their home and honor.
Here one sees the identity of true Southern gentlemen although mere youths when duty called. They were faithful and honorable. The three lives herein captured must be remembered in the generation to come or our loss is indeed greater.
