Light might be defined as illumination in darkness, this is true. When it is dark we cannot see. Light may also be defined as enlightenment or knowledge. It is the latter definition I wish to address. Ignorance is the lack of knowledge and is not pejorative; that area of your knowledge is dark as you do not know or cannot see the information. Once the light of truth is shown upon new information you have the opportunity to digest it and take possession. When a person of ignorance unilaterally determines that they will ignore revelation then they leave the realm of ignorance and enter the realm of stupidity. I endeavor to shed light upon our Nation’s history, my only agenda is truth. There is a greater truth that I am obliged also to share; and that is the truth from God’s Holy Word, in the Gospel of John, Chapter 1 verses 1 through 5. It is perhaps among the most powerful and profound of truths. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not.” Is it not tragic that illumination of truth defies the comprehension of some folk? Sadly, it is satisfaction in their pride which enables them to ignore revelation.
