Christian

An individual who has surrendered himself (pride) for forgiveness and salvation (Isaiah 14: 12-15) to the Sovereign God through the sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ (Matthew 17:5). One who comprehends and believes that the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus satisfies God as a substitute for our sin. This is the only way whereby a man can approach a holy and sovereign God and escape eternal damnation (Ephesians 2:8-9). Christianity was not a theological scroll tossed to earth for mankind; rather it was God Himself coming to earth in the person of His eternal Son to bring reconciliation (John 10:30). You see, once the franchise of Liberty was given to man and man chose poorly (Romans 3:23), the consequences of that poor choice required a method of reconciliation (Romans 5:17-18). Because God is just, someone must die as a substitute (Romans 5:12). God chose the person of Jesus (John 3:16), so that He might eternally vanquish death and the grave for whosoever shall receive His pure and simple message of redemption (Romans 10:13). God’s redemption through Jesus Christ is the earnest payment of mankind’s purchase from the slave market of sin (Ephesians 1:13-14). That purchase a gift to whosoever will receive it (Ephesians 2:8-9), and repent (John 1:4, Luke 3:3; 24:47, II Peter 3:9). The fruits of Christianity in a Christian culture result in virtue, lawful obedience, morality, justice, truth, personal responsibility, liberty and freedom. Christianity is constantly assaulted and under pressure from pride filled religionists who want to modify its message; since its author and finisher is Jesus Christ; He alone among the “worlds theologians,” defeated death, hell and the grave and lives to tell about it (I Corinthians 15: 54-58). If you have read this and are not a Christian this may be your last opportunity to escape an eternal Hell.
