All Men are Created Equal

No other wording in our founding documents have been more distorted, misrepresented or vilified than these from our Declaration of Independence. Both Federalists and Anti-federalists founders agreed that ours was a Christian Nation whose laws and precepts were from Christian foundations. For the system to operate properly, virtue must prevail. With that understanding it is assumed that all men realize that their life is a gift from God and that before God all men, great or small, are of equal value; as God is not a respecter of persons (Romans 2:11, Ephesians 6:9, Colossians 3:25). Following that, a Christian people must insist that all men be equal before the law. There can be no law for the king that does not apply to the citizen or no law for the citizen that does not apply to the king. Equality has nothing to do with an individual’s franchise or the outcome of an individual’s effort or lack thereof. Equality of franchise and outcome are wholly atheistic and humanistic, Marxist ideologies stemming from the French Revolution. Equality before God and the law is the intended meaning of those words.
